Fencing season in Colorado just started. 2011 "Nick Toth Open" is behind and we looking forward for the next fencing meet. Our fencers performed great in this great tournament and in the woman's seniors epee event our girls took first two places. Christine Dominick beat in the final bout Pauline Hamilton 15:14 scoring last point in the overtime round. Great job girls. Congratulation also to our other senior and youth fencers for great performance in Senior Men, Y-12, Y-14 and Cadet epee events. For some of the youth fencers (Emily Donaghy and Kenny Wang) there was a first official fencing performance. Keep going this way guys, don't give up. We are so proud of you. First time is so hard to compete, next time will be much easier.

So the first step was made, the 2011/2012 season just start.  September 3-4 Sin the first competition thid new season in SYC "Badawi Challenge" in Plano, TX our student Pauline Hamilton won second place in her new youth age category - Y14. It was a great performance in her first start after Summer Nationals (where she won bronze medal). She proof that she is one of the best youth fencers in the country.
